Mark Thomas is a computer programmer and analyst for the Network
Situational Awareness team. As the lead engineer for the SiLK tool
development, he builds tools that capture and analyze NetFlow traffic
summaries to determine security risks.
Prior to joining the SEI, Thomas was a research and computer
programmer for ArsDigita, Justsystem Pittsburgh Research Center, and
Carnegie Mellon's Institute for Complex Engineered Systems.
research interests
Thomas' research interest include situational awareness, NetFlow
analysis, and information modeling environments.
