Annual Technical Meeting for CSIRTs with National Responsibility

The CERT Division recognizes the unique issues facing computer security incident response teams (CSIRTs) with national responsibility, and believes that it is important to provide mechanisms for cooperation and collaboration among the organizations that fill this role around the globe. We believe that information sharing is not sufficient to overcome these threats and hope to foster relationships and collaborate on solutions to the problems. Since 2006 the CERT Coordination Center (CERT/CC) has been hosting an annual technical meeting for CSIRTs with national responsibility. This meeting provides an opportunity for the organizations responsible for protecting the security of nations, economies, and critical infrastructures to discuss the unique challenges they face while fulfilling this role.

This year, we will celebrate our 10th year, and our meeting will be held in June in Berlin, Germany. To ensure trust and open discussions, this invitation-only meeting is restricted to representatives from recognized National CSIRTs. Meeting discussions are participant-driven and often focus on current issues, tools, and methods relevant to the National CSIRT community.

As more general information becomes available, we will update this website. In the meantime, save the date, and check out the many sponsorship opportunities that are available for NatCSIRT 2015. Sponsorship allows you to connect your organization with thought leaders who are responsible for protecting the security of nations, economies, and critical infrastructures. Explore these opportunities, and contact us if you have questions or need more information.
