The CERT Knowledgebase houses the public Vulnerability Notes Database, as well as two restricted-access components:

• Vulnerability Card Catalog
  This catalog contains descriptive and referential information regarding thousands of vulnerabilities reported to the CERT Coordination Center.
• Special Communications Database
  This database contains briefs that provide advance warning and important information about vulnerabilities, intruder activity, or other critical security threats.
